"First race of the year, first podium"
3rd PRO-AM
A new era in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe with BOUTSEN VDS:
Aiming for victory in PRO-AM
After a 2024 season marked by solid performances in GT4 (7 podiums, 3 wins & 4 pole positions), Hugo Bac is taking on a major challenge: conquering the PRO-AM category in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. Teaming up with the Belgian squad BOUTSEN VDS and supported by Renaud Kuppens, a driver with an impressive track record, he enters this season with a clear ambition: victory!
A Full Focus on the Super Trofeo Europe
GT4 is now behind him, making way for a more powerful car and an even more competitive championship. Hugo Bac is fully dedicated to the Super Trofeo Europe, with a dual mission: delivering top performances on track and actively contributing to the car’s development. His team, led by Olivier Boutsen, aims high, leveraging its expertise to challenge the best teams on the grid.
A Complementary Duo Aiming for the Top
Hugo Bac will share the wheel with Renaud Kuppens, a 46-year-old veteran with three seasons of Super Trofeo experience. With 31 wins, 55 podiums, and 31 pole positions to his name, his expertise will be a key asset in their title chase. Their complementary strengths—Hugo’s raw speed and determination, combined with Renaud’s strategic experience—could make all the difference in a championship where every detail counts.
A Demanding Calendar and Major Challenges
While some circuits are familiar (such as his home race at Paul Ricard), others present a true challenge. Despite his past experience in GT4, Spa-Francorchamps remains one of the most legendary tracks on the calendar, with its elevation changes and high-speed corners. He will also face new challenges at Monza, Barcelona, Misano, and the Nürburgring, testing his ability to adapt in a field of over 50 cars.
Intensive Preparation for a Crucial Season
To be ready from the first race, Hugo Bac has committed to a rigorous winter training program, focusing on both physical and mental preparation under the guidance of Patrick Mahé and supervised by Factory 27. This meticulous approach aims to maximize his performance in a more demanding car and a highly competitive championship.
🚀 The Battle Begins Soon…
In March, the first tests will mark the official start of this Super Trofeo Europe journey. Every kilometer covered will be a crucial step in transforming winter preparation into on-track performance. The goal is clear: arrive at Castellet ready to make a strong impact from day one.
